Robyn was fortunate to commence her mortgage career at Cherrill Mortgage, where she worked with Eileen Young, her mentor, who guided her with 20 years of experience in the mortgage business.
Robyn’s goal is to make the mortgage process as simple as possible. To do this, it is important to listen to and meet the client’s needs and goals. She always tells borrowers that mortgages are “all about risk,” the lower the risk, the easier the loan process. She concentrates on making sure her clients understand the entire mortgage process and strives to make the total experience simple.
Previously, Robyn was involved in the medical field as an electroencephalogram (EEG) technician, working in Vancouver, England, Australia, and Zimbabwe. She ran her own small business, selling neurophysiologic equipment. Increasingly, she grew interested in the financial world. Robyn chose mortgage consulting because she thought she could combine her people skills, her genuine, caring attitude, and her interest in financing to help people achieve their dream of home ownership.
She and her husband, Andrew, grew up in Zimbabwe, Africa, and traveled around the world, ending up in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They have two grown sons. When Andrew was transferred with his job to Phoenix, she started her new career in the mortgage industry. Her hobbies are gardening, sports, particularly tennis, and reading.
